- Treasure hunts on the site
A children's treasure hunt led by Sophie . This treasure hunt will lead children to discover the most beautiful spots on the site: the stream, the cave, the pond, etc. Then they will be able to discover the wildlife of the estate (butterflies, dragonflies of all colors, carp, roach, French crayfish, etc.).
Family treasure hunt: independently on the grounds, solve the riddles that will lead you to the treasure!
The escape bag : Equipped with a backpack, find the solution to the riddles to unlock the padlocks and discover the treasure hidden inside!
On-site activities supervised by professionals
- Introduction to rock climbing
The natural rock face located just behind the reception area is ideal for beginners. Following the advice of our partner , Expert Sport Nature , test yourself on the three routes available (one of which has an overhang).

- Swimming lessons
Take advantage of the holidays and the heated pool to teach your children to swim or improve your own skills with a qualified swimming instructor .
Suitable for children aged 6 and up, but also for adults.
- Massage and well-being
Imagine: the sound of the stream, the birds singing, a light breeze rustling the tree branches... What a dream setting for a massage session!
In the summer, Murielle offers various wellness sessions at La Grange du Héron. The program includes relaxation massages, Reiki Consciousness or Massage of the 5 Continents . Details of services here .
- Circus workshops
Artistic and educational activities around circus arts supervised by Morgane.
Two workshops per week are planned for the summer:
- for younger children aged 4-6 years, accompanied by an adult

What could be better than an e-MTB for exploring the trails between the limestone plateau and the valley?
Our partner Roussen'arc offers you various options. From half a day to a full week, tailor your rental to your needs!
- Lot Valley Greenway
Starting in the summer of 2026 , a greenway linking Larroque Toirac to Cajarc will allow cyclists and walkers to discover this magnificent route at the foot of the cliff and along the Lot River in complete safety. Crossing the tunnel will be fun for young and old alike!
The departure point from Larroque Toirac is located a few kilometers from the Grange du Héron.
- Grand Figeac Trail Base
Our region will have a trail running center in 2026. Around twenty trails (approximately 60km) dedicated to trail running will be marked out in the surrounding towns, including one circuit that passes in front of the Grange du Héron!
- Tennis in Saint-Pierre Toirac (10 minutes by car, free access)
Whether you want to play a few rallies from the back of the court or a 5-set match, we offer you the free use of the tennis court in St-Pierre Toirrac, 5 km from La Grange du Héron.

Our partner, Ranch des Centaurées , offers a different kind of horseback riding experience. Forget everything you've learned and come discover "Western" riding.

Céline and Aurélien invite you to come and discover their brewery in Cajarc.

A tasting will be offered at the end of the visit.
